Robert McMichaelson was the supervising Technician of the Pegasus X project by Scarborough Manufacturing Annex in 3073.[1]
History[edit]
McMichaelson was the man behind the decision to use a 210-rated XL fusion engine with a supercharger, with test data estimating a maximum land speed of over 237 km/h. It was also his decision to make the vehicle able to connect to a C3 network by installing a C3 slave unit.
In 3073, the first full-scale test of the Pegasus-X suffered a catastrophic failure when the engine supercharger was engaged and misfired. However, it was realized the remaining systems were unimpaired, suggesting proof of a robust design and successful integration of the speed boosting components. McMichaelson had been supervising the evaluation of the failure mechanism, though further field tests were postponed indefinitely. Unofficially, he promised a new test before the year ended.[1]
