Major General Serendipity Tomsik was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's 268th BattleMech Division as of 2764.[1]

A classmate of fellow LXXI Corps Division commander Major General Ciprian Grigore, Tomsik allowed her units supplies to be surreptitiously diverted to his 272nd BattleMech Division, in order to support his officially unsanctioned bandit hunting campaign to revenge the loss a of prized troop of Lipizzaner horse. Tomsik was willing to provide this support, as the 268th was scheduled to be transferred to 1st Army nearer the center of the Terran Hegemony's industrial might in February 2765, at which time it was expected to be able to make good its deficiencies.[1]
