Shiro Knutesson was the commanding officer of the Sixth Benjamin Regulars as of 2787[1]
History[edit]
Tai-sa Knutesson, commanding the Sixth Benjamin Regulars during the First Succession War, lead his unit in an attack on Saffel in April 2787. Unexpectedly running into the Twenty-first Rim Worlds Regiment of the Blue Star Irregulars, Knutesson was bound by orders from Jinjiro Kurita to limit his force's strength in order to hide the build-up of military might along the Draconis Combine/Federated Suns border. To that effect, Knutesson dispersed the Sixth Benjamin across numerous settlements and ordered his men to give ground as soon as the mercenaries began rooting them out. While feigning weakness in front of the "honorless" remnants of the Rim Worlds Republic galled his troops, Knutesson pointedly reminded any of his men who spoke out about Lord Jinjiro's orders and the consequences for disobeying them. After ten days of sporadic fighting, the Sixth Benjamin withdrew from Saffel.[1]
