Stella Heigl was a Lyran Alliance tank commander and the leader of the Tharkad-based anti-Blakist resistance unit EISENJÄGER. She died in 3071.[1]

During the Word of Blake occupation of Tharkad, Heigl served as part of the anti-Blakist resistance. EISENJÄGER, her own tank company, spent two years evading and fighting the occupiers. On 13 January 3071, the unit ambushed particularly important prey: Precentor Roman McKinnsey, known as the Marauder of Mako Valley. Heigl's gunner Rolf Solomon fired the lethal shot that destroyed McKinnsey's cockpit moments before their tank was destroyed by the target's lancemates.[1]
