Major General Thea Lyons was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's III Corps from 2761 to at least 2784.[1][2]

Early Career[edit]
Lyons served as assistant commander for XIX Corps until 2761, and though her performance was far from exemplary, she was subsequently promoted to lead III Corps. Regardless of her own capabilities, she assembled an excellent staff to assist her, including Major General Sir Charles LeMarque, Lieutenant General Marguerite MacClintock and Colonel William Orfelt.[1]
Amaris Civil War[edit]
Lyons survived the Amaris Civil War, despite having lost over three-quarter of her unit during the fighting, and attended Commanding General Aleksandr Kerensky's announcement of Operation EXODUS to senior SLDF's officers on Terra as III Corps commander on 14 February 2784.
At this meeting, Lyons opposed General Tatjana Baptiste, who advocated for destroying those SLDF units who had chosen to join one of the Successor State militaries on the basis they were deserters. Commanding General Aleksandr Kerensky ultimately also sided against Baptiste, in preference for his Exodus plan.[2]
