Major General Vincenté Marcocelli was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's XI Corps as of 2764.[1]

A native of Vanra in the Capellan Confederation, Marcocelli worried about the impact on his troops morale of the constant grinding low level warfare they experienced within the Draconis Combine, and therefore constantly requested the rotation of units under his command to quieter areas of operation to be sped up.
Walking a fine line between the demands of the Kuritan Warlord of Rasalhague, and his own troops displeasure with suppressing Rasalhague separatist groups such as Great North, Marcocelli ultimately was forced to guarantee to his soldiers that they would only be deployed against violent rebels who were directly attacking either civilians or a League member state.[1]
