Major General Winston Tambor was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's 233rd Mechanized Infantry Division as of 2764.[1]

Under the command of Major General Tambor, the 233rd Mechanized Infantry Division became LXVII Corps’ premier garrison division, cycling through different garrison postings to help train SLDF Reserve formations and conducting war games.
Tambor however relied heavily on his Ib (operations officer) Colonel Valerie Katsakov and her staff, whose skill in assessing defensive terrain and the likely routes of attackers was legendary, being able to predict the route of advance of attackers in exercises with more than 85% accuracy.[1]
