During the Dark Age Era, when Northwind was part of the Republic of the Sphere, the ruler was Tara Campbell, though she rarely stay on Northwind, fighting anywere the Republic space. When Tara became bondsmen of the Clan Jade Falcon, after the Battle of Terra, his younger sister step into her place, leading a newly independent Northwind.[1]
