On Sudeten, the 9 January 3152, Alexis Zarnofsky and her sibkins are fighting their Trial of Position into their new Clan, the Jade Falcons. Daniel, her sibkin but also worst enemy, fights his Trial in simulators. She, meanwhile, remembered her infancy on the streets of Antimony, Quarell. How her group of childrens planned a theft of a Ghost Bear officer. They send Alexis, promising to help her if she was in trouble, but when the clanner uncovered her and catch her, Alexis' friends simple left her alone. The Bear, Star Colonel Aoi Bekker, laugh of Alexis' pretenses to have a family, and took her to a interview room. Alexis' determination to don't eat biscuits from a plate wasn't strong enough, so she eat them all. After Alexis' attention returned to the present, she saw than Daniel had won... barely: he had attained one kill before dying, which made him a warrior. Then it was Alexis' turn to fight. She played a cat-and-mouse game with a Rifleman, managing to down him, but at a high cost: her Sacage Wolf armor was in shambles. However, despite having become a warrior too, Alexis refused to stop, and chased her second opponent. Both savaged each other, until her simulator turned off. Alexis remembered how, on Antimony, the Star Colonel promised her a real family, and an opportunity to become a warrior. The next day, she took her to a sibko training facility, presenting Alexis to her trainer. She too met her sibkins, receiving open hostility from one, Daniel, but also a warm welcome from others, telling her clearly than reaching her goal won't be easy. On Sudeten, Alexis emerged from her simulator, surprised when everybody was aplauding her. To her surprise, before dying, she had managed to kill the Phoenix Hawk pilot, which made her a Star Commander. Even Daniel was friendly with her, to her surprise, but even more when Khan Chistu personally congratulated her nad said he expected great things from her. Alexis felt happy, knowing than now, she really was at the right place and had a real family.
