History

The 101st Reserve Battle Cluster was added to Zeta Galaxy during the reforms of Khan Sullivan Koga in the mid 3050s.[1]

In 3060, the 101st was assigned to defend Zeta Galaxy's landing zone during the withdrawal of Brim after a month of combat. During this holding action, the unit took heavy casualties form the Clan Star Adder counterattack.[1] After this action it was stationed on Delios.[2] By 3067, it had moved to Londerholm.[3]

The fate of the 101st Reserve Battle Cluster is not recorded, although it appears to have been destroyed during the Wars of Reaving.[4] This most likely occurred in 3071, when the Coyotes had spread both Zeta and Nu Galaxies to take control of former Wolf holdings that had been passed to them. These had subsequently come under attack as the Wolves pulled out of Clan space.[5]

Officers

Between 3061 and 3067, the commanding officer was Star Colonel Dale Koga.[1][3]

Tactics

The 101st relied on high speed and maneuverability to confuse its enemies.
