11th Alshain Avengers

History

The unit comprised of units originally part of the Alshain Regulars prior to Clan Invasion.

The unit by 3059, had partipated in Operation Bulldog.

In mid 3062, 11th was assign to the world Yamarovka where they began months of cross-training with newly formed Zeta Provisional Galaxy of Clan Nova Cat.

The Avengers fought series of excercises with new unit, including 1st Dragoncat Cluster. The Dragoncats trained closely with the Third Battalion. Having assigned its commanding officer to double as a liason officer between new formed cluster. Teaching them fighting methods of Inner Sphere.

Unknown to the Draconis Combine's High Command, the 11th was ordered by Tai-shu Toshimichi Uchida influenced by Duke Ricol to join invasion of former district capital of Alshain in late September.

On October 1st, the 1st Dragoncats blocked 11th from going to their dropships asking they wait 48 hours for them to confirm the order. Having press for their timetabled of the invasion, they attacked the Dragoncats in deadly night battle in midist of gale force thunderstorm. Both sides devastate each other in the conflict, but tipping towards the Avengers.

However, mechwarrior among the Dragoncats challenges the third's commanding officer, Palmer Yoshi to Rital of Zellbrigen, with yoshi accepting challenge. Yoshi, feeling sorry for his former comrade Zane, offers Hegira to him. Unfortunately, one of Yoshi's men, furious at offer of hegira kills Zane with headshot, decapinating Zane's Pack Hunter. This triggers remaining force of Zeta Provisional Galaxy to attack 11th.

Unable to reach the dropships, Palmer orders his forces pull back try keep themselves alive. By November, 11th is reduced fighting guerrilla actions. Later that month, Sigma and Omega Galaxies of Clan Ghost Bear arrive at Yamarovka and completely destroy remaining forces of the regiment.
