History

Battle of Luthien

Landed on Luthien during the Fifth Wave of Operation Revival.

On the second day of the battle, the Clan lines broke when the First Genyosha and the Kell Hounds decimated the 315th Battle Cluster. The resulting assault did so much damage to the clan forces that a retreat was briefly considered.

Before the retreat could be called, however, the Twenty-second broke through a weak link in the defending lines. Once through, they were caught in a crossfire generated by the Otomo and the Second Legion of Vega.

The Twenty-second charged the Otomo lines, intending to overwhelm the DCMS unit with superior numbers. The Otomo did not opt for a stand-up fight, instead giving way and allowing the Twenty-second to run straight into Wolf's Dragoons' Alpha Regiment. Those few warriors from the Twenty-second who survived that fight were imprisoned in Imperial City.
