As of 3059 the Commanding Officer was Star Colonel Raina Montose[1]
Tactics
A predominantly infantry formation, the Fortieth practiced rapid assaults with BattleMechs carrying Elementals onto the battlefield. They were often used to disrupt the flanks of enemy forces during battle.[1]
