History
Formation
The 44th Dieron Regulars were formed around two battalions detached from the 12th Dieron Regulars. These units were divided up by weight class, with the first battalion composed of mostly assault 'Mechs and the second and third battalion mostly light 'Mechs.Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag;

- The first battalion are the assault force with many assault supported by lighter machines.
- 2nd and 3rd Battalion fielding only light machines which are supported by the a few heavies.
- 44th Dieron Regulars Aerospace (1 Wing/Green/Reliable)
- 2nd Ashio Armored (1 Regiment/Green/Reliable)
- Attached Armor support'
- 43rd Pesht Reconnaissance (1 Regiment/Green/Reliable)
- Attached Infantry support
