Overview

The Forty-eighth Royal BattleMech Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army. It was one of the SLDF's Royal units, which consisted of troops from the Terran Hegemony.

History

In 2764, the unit was stationed on Terra[1], assigned as a part of the I Corps, First Army, of the Terran Military Region[2]. The 48th survived the Amaris Civil War in 2766, but was destroyed during the Hegemony Campaign.[2]

Officers

2758 to 2764, the Commanding Officer was Major General Sir Charles Radescu.[3]

Composition History

As an SLDF BattleMech Division the 48th would have been composed with two Brigades of 'Mech regiments and one brigade of Mechanized Infantry regiments.[4]
