The 608th Lyran Motorized Regiment are a specialist Motorized Infantry regiment in service to the LAAF.
History
The Heavy Urban Response Platoon of the 608th Lyran MTR is equipped with autorifles and man-portable plasma rifles. They have been known to destroy light BattleMechs with one salvo. Frequently deployed by the 3rd Lyran Guards to hold important objectives and heavy buildings, in some engagements they have only been moved from their positions when a company of enemy forces arrived to move them.[2]
