Formation
The Seventh Amphigean Light Assault Group was formed during the Clan Invasion from the few survivors of the 2nd Amphigean Light Assault Group and the 5th Light Assault Group. The 7th was formed in the Dieron Military District, filling the open positions with survivors of other DCMS regiments and newly-graduated recruits.[1]

Dominion War
The 7th Amphigean LAG moved from Kimbal II to Buckminster to reinforce the Clan Ghost Bear border. During a brief visit to the unit, Minoru Kurita reassigned the 7th's infantry assets to himself.[2] These assets were later returned to the 7th.[3]

Officers
As of 3059 the Sevenths' commanding officer was Tai-sa Paul Wazigi. He was replaced by Tai-sa Karen Snow in 3067.[4]
Tactics
The Seventh was working hard to develop the quick strike and open field maneuvers common to the Amphigean Light Assault Groups.[5]

Events reduced the 7th Amphigean and its support elements to approximately 75% of their 3059 strength.[6] Aside from that reduction in force, the 7th's organization remained the same.
