Aeneas "Ripper" Papaspaneas was the leader of the Cobra sub-gang of the Drake's Dragons pirate band in the early 31st century.[1]
Overview[edit]
Aeneas and his gang raided Payvand in March 3011. They ransacked the town of Lowson while capturing several transports full of gold. During the fighting, the pirates crushed the Payvand's Militia and engaged the Langston's Lancers mercenary unit. More than a hundred civilians died during the fighting.[2][1]
Aeneas and his gang then loaded the looted gold from the captured trucks into their own Maxim Heavy Hover Transports and fled the area to their hidden DropShip. Scouts from Langston's Lancers were able to trace the pirates' movements and the mercenaries ambushed them at Colman Pass, where they crushed the pirates and only one BattleMech and one hovercraft were able to temporarily escape. Later, the Cobra's DropShip was destroyed by Langston's Lancers aerospace command, the Black Sheep.[3]
Aeneas Papaspaneas final fate is unknown at this time.
