History

Beta Newt were one of Clan Steel Vipers training units, led by an experienced Star Colonel. The Newt Trinaries teach the newly graduated warriors to fight as a unit and act as "feeder" units for the front line Galaxies.[1]

In 3061 the Trinary was stationed on Antares.[2] By 3067 Beta Newt had been expanded to a Cluster and was stationed on Marshall along with the rest of Beta Galaxy.[3]

Officers

The Commanding Officer was Star Colonel Edward Roland was assigned to the post after being injured on Tukayyid, he was still in command in 3067.[4][3]
