Charley Hawke was the leader of the pirate band Hawke's Horde in the early 31st century.[2][1]

History[edit]

Charley Hawke led the pirate band Hawke's Horde when they hit cities and supply convoys in the Landmark, Brisbane and New Vandenburg systems of the Taurian Concordat in 3012. Due to his band using BattleMechs and various combat vehicles, it was presumed, but not confirmed, that Hawke's Horde may have been a rogue mercenary unit from the Inner Sphere.[2]

In January 3013, Charley would lead his Hawke's Horde to attack Landmark again and had a sizable engagement with the Landmark Militia. The pirates were able to escape while inflicting heavy losses on the militia. During 3014, when the Horde's home base was discovered on Laconis, the Taurian Concordat sent the newly rebuilt Landmark Militia in addition to a BattleMech force to attack the base and keep the pirates from escaping. The Hawke's Horde pirate band was destroyed and Charley Hawke was taken prisoner.[1]

Charley Hawke was later executed in 3015 for his crimes.[1]

BattleMech[edit]

Charley Hawke piloted a Griffin BattleMech.[2]
