The Drachenfeld system is the location of at least one habitable world or construct and as at 3095 was an independent system located in the Deep Periphery.[1]
System Description
Drachenfeld is located in the spinward region of the Deep Periphery, close to Mauna Loa and the system containing Interstellar Expeditions Base 6. As with many systems located in the Deep Periphery, close is a relative term; IE Base #6 is more than 120 light years away from Drachenfeld, whilst Mauna Loa is located more than 150 light years away.[1]

Notes
- Drachenfeld was first identified in 2012 with the publication of Interstellar Players 3: Interstellar Expeditions. Other than the astrogeographical location of Drachenfeld, no information was provided in the system; in the absence of further information on the Deep Periphery no further detail is likely to be available on Drachenfeld.
- "Drachenfeld" literally translates as "Dragon's Field" from German. There is also a system named Dragon's Field but context establishes it to be a different system from the deep periphery system going by Drachenfeld.
