Leutnant-General Eugen Hasseldorf was the commander of the Fifth Lyran Guards, with the Lyran Commonwealth, from at least 3142 to 3145.[1][2][3]

A member of the prominent Kaumberg noble family House Hasseldorf, prior to the invasion of Niihau by the Wolf Empire in 3142, Leutnant-General Eugen Hasseldorf asked one of his Battalion commander's Kommandant Jens Mündler what it would take for the Fifth Lyran Guards to defend the world. Mündler, who replied by requesting an outfit of Daishi OmniMechs, didn't manage to hold Niihau but did manage to survive to escape back to Lyran held space.[2][3]
By 3145, Hasseldorf was based on Alma Alta, together with the survivors of the Fifth Lyran Guards as of 3145.[1]
