Planet History

Ferris was a part of the Oberon Confederation and was subsequently annexed by Clan Wolf during the Clan invasion of the Inner Sphere. In 3082 the population was tired of being ignored by Clan Hell's Horses and demanded more attention. The planet's population rioted and nearly killed every member of the Epsilon Galaxy Command unit. In response, the Hell's Horses withdrew from the world, leaving it to starve.[9] By the onset of the Dark Age in 3130, Ferris had become a part of the region known as The Barrens.[5][6]

The citizens of Ferris rebelled against the Horses in 3083. Four years later, it became the capital world of the Ferris Collective, a group of Periphery systems that had been abandoned by the Horses.[10] They were quickly enmeshed in a need to colonize the Elysian Fields, a group of nearby systems. This stretched their resources to the breaking point and put a serious strain on the Ferris system.[11]
