House Stroud were the traditional commanding officers of the Steel Guard.

History

Origins

In 2799, the Free Worlds League captured Alula Australis from the Lyran Commonwealth. Rather than be destroyed, the defending mercenary commander offered Captain-General Kenyon Marik a pledge of loyalty. The newly pledged mercenaries would become the core of the Steel Guard, with José Stroud founding what would be a hereditary command position.[1]
