Hudsenn's Red Devils were a mercenary unit operating during the Second and Third Succession Wars.[1] The unit was briefly renamed as Morgenstern's Slashers prior to their dissolution.[2]

Formed near the end of the Second Succession War by two battalions' worth of ex–House Marik regulars who banded together to oppose the Free Worlds League, Hudsenn's Red Devils saw extensive service with the Lyran Commonwealth. This ended after the Red Devils undertook a disastrous deep raid into League space in 3005, being defeated by the Defenders of Andurien with their avenue of retreat back into Lyran territory cut-off. Opting for the relative safety of the Periphery, the Red Devils arrived in the Magistracy of Canopus in the spring of 3007 and quickly signed a contract with that realm.
