History[edit]
Jureck's Jaegers were a "minor" mercenary unit of unspecified size and composition. In 3035 they were operating on the Outworlds Alliance world of Risin. Following the finding of a lostech cache on the planet, the outlaw mercenary band Blades of Death savaged the Jaegers killing the unit's officers and enslaving the surviving members. Then the pirates stole the lostech cache. One Jureck's Jaegers' MechWarrior who was captured in this way was Woodrow Ethan Allen, who would go on to escape, obtain a BattleMech and finally form the Green Mountain Boys in 3039.[1]
