History

The Koniz Pandora Theater Militia is slightly larger than most of the Theater Militia units found in the Lyran Alliance. This is due to the unit's proximity to Sudeten, the Jade Falcon headquarters in the Inner Sphere. Between 3052 and 3062, Koniz was subject to scores of Clan raids and served as the launching point for at least eight Federated Commonwealth and Lyran Alliance reprisal attacks. The extra wing of AeroSpace Fighters and additional regiments of armor and infantry allow greater tactical flexibility.[1]

The only drawback to their location is the fact that the Arc-Royal Defense Cordon formed around them. This eliminated the last vestiges of support they were receiving from the LAAF. Instead the Koniz PTM has developed a close working relationship with Clan Wolf-in-Exile's Alpha Galaxy.[1]

During the FedCom Civil War the Koniz ARTM fought Clan Jade Falcon's Rho Galaxy. After three months of combat, the Koniz ARTM withdrew to Graceland to rebuild.[2][3] Interestingly, after they rebuilt, they shared Koniz with the Jade Falcon's 24th Provisional Garrison Cluster.[4]

The Konitz ATM apparently didn't survive the Jihad, it wasn't listed as being on the LAAF rolls in 3079.[5]

Officers

As of 3048 to 3054 the commanding officer is Leftenant General Konrad Davis. He was still in command in 3062.[6][1]

Tactics

As a seasoned militia, the unit used many prepared areas to deliver the ultimate damage possible. They know every inch of the defending world as well.[1]
