The Maelstrom was a Leopard-class DropShip affiliated with Tracy Malfont and her unit, Malfont's Raiders.
History[edit]
Integrated into Mark Castor's private army, the ship was parked at the Swing Circle spaceport on New Port Royal in the Tortuga Dominions in early 3066 as part of an intricate plan to steal an Overlord-class DropShip. During the chaotic fighting in the starport, Castor ordered a team of infantry to board and disable the Maelstrom so that Malfont's Raiders could not use it to escape and had to see the fight through with him. The plan ultimately failed and they stole a Union-class vessel instead, leaving the Maelstrom behind.[1]
