As of 2764, Gomes and LI Corps were assigned to the Lyran Commonwealth and Terran Hegemony border, which has not seen any major combat for a significant amount of time. Gomes used 11th Army's Operation KOBALD wargames as one opportunity to try to maintain her Corps' readiness, but despite sometimes wishing for more real combat to maintain her units edge, enjoyed the escape from writing messages of condolence for fallen troops.
