History
Born in Canada, Land served as an Engineer aboard the TAS Pathfinder, the first manned vessel to make an interstellar trip, jumping into the Tau Ceti system on December 5, 2108. Ten days later, Land traveled overland on Tau Ceti using an excursion vehicle before disembarking, becoming the first human to walk on a planet outside the Terran system.[1]
