History
The Moment was a Vengeance-class DropShip operated by the Free Worlds League Military. In 3068 the Moment was supporting the invasion of the Lyran Alliance world of Poulsbo by the 2nd Fusiliers of Oriente and the 6th Orloff Grenadiers when the battered mercenary unit known as the Periphery Star Guard retreated from the system. Fighters from the Moment attempted to intercept the retreating Star Guard forces, but were unable to inflict significant damage due to the actions of the Star Guard Aerospace contingent, who specialised in escorting DropShips and achieving aerospace superiority.[1]
