Description
A product made possible from the upheaval the chaotic Jihad era, the Ravager is an Assault Battle Armor first produced in the Marian Hegemony. Prior to the Jihad, Hegemony was briefly had an alliance with the Word of Blake whom in working with then Caesar, constructed a Battle Armor production line on Horatius. However, Blakists were evicted by then Julius O’Reilly, leaving behind a partially built Battle Armor production line at Marian Arms. Julius's son, Cassius O'Reilly, during the Jihad recruited a former Irian Technologies scientist to help complete the production line and gave birth to Ravager.
Dr. Dafyyad Rou designed the Ravager with technology the Hegemony had available to it and had the suit in production by 3084. Hegemony begun marketing the suit for sale to the open market to help bolster the Hegemony's coffers.[2]
Armament and Capacities
The Ravager's principal weaponry rotary style Heavy Recoilless Rifle mounted in the Armor's right arm. A pair of single tube Rocket Launchers are mounted on the main body rounding out the armor's ranged weaponry. A single Battle Claw is mounted on the suit's left arm as it’s only physical attack weapon.
The Ravager boasts nearly ton of Standard Battle Armor, allowing it survive considerable damage from even BattleMechs. Its other note worthy quality is its speed, which has been clocked moving at brisk 20 kilometers per hour.[3]
Notes
Designers working for game company Wizkids originally conceived the Ravager . It was designed for their collectible miniature game, MechWarrior: Dark Age. The armor first was part of the company's Annihilation set release. The Armor was noted being available for all five of the major House Militaries, Bannson's Raiders, the Wolf Hunters mercenary company, and Rasalhague Dominion.[4]
