History
Rho Spina Galaxy was known for making extensive use of Elementals and Supernovas. Traditionally it had faced Clan Ice Hellion and Clan Hell's Horses; so it was also deployed combat vehicles, only one of two Galaxies in the Diamond Shark Touman to be so equipped . The unit commanders believed in preparing for any type of conflict, and so trained Rho in a variety of situations rather than specializing in any one type of combat. This broad base of tactical knowledge had saved the Galaxy several times over the course of its history.[1]
The Clusters of the Galaxy had become exceptionally mobile by 3067, assigned to Diamond Shark WarShips for extended periods of time before making planetfall for live-fire exercises.[2]
The loss of the CDS Bold Venture at Salonika in early July 3072 by Clan Burrock forces, also seems to have seen the destruction of the 33rd Combined Strike Cluster.[3]
Officers
As of 3061 the commanding officer was Galaxy Commander Evangeline Clarke.[1]
Tactics
The Galaxy tended to break a battle into several component fights, with a divide and conquer strategy.[1]
