Ryveg was the son of a Draconis Combine officer who went mercenary as part of the Osaka Mercenary Legion when his career stalled. After the unit was shattered, his father and him left for Solaris were his father mentored him to fight in the games.
Fighting for Blackstar Stables, he was the Class IV Champion in 3066 and helped his stable to regain its position after the Solaris Riots, but the Jihad stopped his intention to do the same in Class VI.[1]
