ArcShip Poseidon - A former Potemkin Class Troop Cruiser of the Clan Sea Fox. The Poseidon is a heavily modified Warship, re-designed as a Sea Fox mobile Community.

She is the current is the Command Ship/Flag ship of Clan Sea Fox's Spina Khanate. She and her Khanate fleet had been operating in Republic of the Sphere's Prefectures VI, VII & VIII as of 3134.[1] With saKhan Mikel Sennet was the commanding officer of Spina Khanate at that time.

She was originally listed as ilKhanate's command ship or Capital in 3130.[2]

Ship Facts

The ship was slowly converted into a ArcShip after the Jihad. The ship became a main population center for the Sea Foxes. The ship was enlarged from original tonnage to 2.5 million tons.[3] Ship carries over 50 DropShips, with dozens of them Behemoth Class DropShips, placed all over its hull. This game the ship crew/population capacity increase with added life support/other equipment by the permanently docked Behemoth DropShips. With the habitat increases & food/stores capcities, allowing the ship to retain a population of a half-million people.[4]

The permanently "docked" DropShips grouped together & various former large cargo holds are referred to as communital centers. These community centers are named with the greek alphabet. The ship has a dozen communities onboard. The Alpha Community Prime is a large community located in the Potemkin's old Primary Cargo Hold A. Which is the home of 50 thousand clansman of castes.[5] with for others haft of the size of Alpha.

Her dimensions were increase by 50 percent to length of 2250 Meters Length[6]

History

Originally designed by the Star League as military hybrid cruiser and troop transport. The ship travelled with Exodus Fleet, in 2784 to what became Pentagon Cluster.

After the formation of the Clans, the ship entry service with the original Clan Sea Fox. After few centuries of service, and Clan Invasion, the ship returned to the Inner Sphere.

Near the end of the Jihad, then Clan Diamond Shark converted its WarShip fleets into mobile communities and heavy transport vessels. The Poseidon was converted into what became known as a ArcShip and made the command ship of the Sea Fox's Khan. Decades later the ship was resigned as Spina Khanate's flagship.

Under the direction of the saKhan Mikel Sennet, the Poseidon and rest of ships of her Khanate deployed to Republic of the Sphere's Prefecture VI, VII, and VIII in 3134. The Khanate had to hope to find new deals to be made due to the HPG Blackout of 3132.

The Poseidon had near-collision with CargoShip Voidswimmer on the 21st of September when it jumped into the Adhafera system.[7] The ship was spared damage, as Voidswimmer manage move out its arrival point. Soon word of the Khan of the Sea Fox's was being hunted by would-be assassins. The ship left system afte re-charging its K-F drive to search for him.
