The Stiletto-7 DropShuttle was a K-1-class Small Craft.

History

As of 3067, it was stationed in the hidden city of Hope on Jardine.

When Dr. Brooklyn Stevens and her team arrived at Jardine and approached the planet in a K-1 DropShuttle (the Magellan), it was shot down and crashlanded, but the explorers managed to avoid capture by the Manei Domini team sent after them. Greatly alarmed that the secret existene of Jardine might be revealed, Precentor Apollyon took measures that included a plan by which the Stiletto-7 would pretend to be the Magellan to (hopefully) meet the intruders' JumpShip and capture or destroy it.

To this end, the Stiletto-7 was equipped with transponder codes recovered from the wreckage of the Magellan. Its crew included Precentor Damien Lucille and Lamashti, the latter capable of perfectly imitating Dr. Stevens' voice over the radio. There was also a military DropShip (Hera's Shield) in false "pursuit" of the DropShuttle.

What Apollyon and Lucille didn't know was that there were actually two JumpShips with competing groups in the Jardine system. Captain Anton Hara of the DropShip Kaylin and his liaison Nathan Bellamy sought to double-cross and capture Stevens. They jumped to an intercept point with their JumpShip Broken Knee and detached the Kaylin.

The ruse was only detected when the Stiletto-7 was already very close to the Kaylin. On 9 November 3067, the Stiletto-7 deployed its battle-armored troopers and crashed into the Kaylin at high speed, destroying the DropShuttle and implicitly heavily damaging or crippling the DropShip which was later boarded and secured by the troops from the Stiletto-7 (as was the Broken Knee).
