History
Stone's Defenders were formed after the rise of Fortress Republic. The unit consisted of recent academy graduates led by officers from Stone's Revenants. The unit was very similar to one of the Draconis Combine's Sun Zhang Academy Cadre units. They were part of Terra's defenses.[1] They possessed a large number of Ares-class BattleMechs.[2]
