When the Free Rasalhague Republic was formed in March 3034, both the First and Second Night Stalkers were stationed on the world of Heiligendreuz. Tai-sa Johiro refused orders to cede garrison duties to the Rasalhagian First Kavalleri on the grounds that to do so would be to abandon the planet's Combine-loyal citizens to the hostile acts of the newly-created Rasalhague citizenry.
