History

The Taiidan was a stripped-down but still powerfully armed Union-class DCMS DropShip.[1] It was sent to Bruben in 3034 to evacuate the DCMS troops as the world was to become part of the Free Rasalhague Republic. However, the on-world DCMS forces went rogue on 2 May and the Taiidan deployed a lance of BattleMechs to support the Ronin attack on the new government.[2] Afterwards, it relocated to a position where it could support the defense of the last Ronin stronghold, a Kiudo fortress known as Fort Tanaka.[1]
