History[edit]
The DCS Togura was the only Samarkand-class carrier to survive the destruction of the Succession Wars in the Inner Sphere; her survival was in part due to the decrepit condition of the Togura, which by the thirty-first century had been reduced to nothing more than a barely functional museum piece in orbit above New Samarkand.[1]
