Overview

Trondheim is home to some of the Jàrnfòlk's few heavy industries, concentrated around the capital of Narvik, and is where all of the parts for their various starships are manufactured and shuttled to orbitting drydocks. Little is known of the facilities, as the families who share responsibility for guarding them are willing to kill interlopers, but the facilities appear to be heavily automated and may date back to the founding of Trondheim. This industry makes Trondheim the main venue for Jàrnfòlk DropShip and JumpShip maintenance, and the defense of the facilities is notable as being one of the few endeavours undertaken by multiple families in co-operation.[1]

There has recently been a shift in power on Trondheim; where the planet was once dominated by the Heyerdal family, the Heyerdal's lost power when their Jàrnskib was lost to the Clans. With the drop in significance of the Heyerdal family, the James clan have now risen to prominance.[1]
