In 3145 the Fourteenth Triarii Protectors were the newest command within the Triarii Protectors brigade, and its personnel included some of the rawest recruits to be found anywhere in the Republic Armed Forces.[1] The Fourteenth's garrison posting on Caph[2] gave it access to supplies from the defense manufacturing plants of Skobel MechWorks and Martinson Armaments, and the Fourteenth was soon considered to be the best-equipped unit in the brigade.
