The 259th Battle Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History[edit]
In 2764, the unit was assigned as part of LXVII Corps, Twentieth Army to the Periphery Military Region.[1] The 259th regularly trained with nearby units of either the Twentieth or Thirteenth Armies.[2]
The 259th moved to an undisclosed area of the Periphery in 2765 to take part in the Periphery Uprising. The unit suffered heavy losses in the Hegemony Campaign and was disbanded in 2784.[1]
Composition History[edit]
As an SLDF Battle regiment, the 259th would have been composed primarily of medium to heavy BattleMechs.[3]
