Overview[edit]
In the War of 3039 Altais was garrisoned by the First Ghost and Second Ghost regiments. They Eighth Donegal Guards, Dragonslayers, and Gray Death Legion invaded in the first wave of the Commonwealth Thrust resulting in the Battle of Altais. Though the Ghosts fought well, they had to withdraw after two months of fighting.[1] The world would be isolated in the DCMS counterattack, however, and in November 3039 the LCAF withdrew.[2]
