Belyakov-Ourobouros, often called BelOuros, was a Republic of the Sphere-based salvaging company.[1]
Overview[edit]
Belyakov-Ourobouros had only been recently founded in 3084 when it acquired the small salvage company Reuse It Or Lose It Enterprises, then tangled in a legal crisis. BelOuros continued growing, and by 3134, it was the largest independent salvaging company in the Republic. It operated across five Prefectures, employing an array of salvage teams each built around a Maruhanabachi airship and salvage VTOLs.[1] Much of BelOuros's business took the form of contracts with the Republic under the Military Materiel Redemption Program.[2]
The company was eventually entangled in conflict, often armed, with Bannson Universal Unlimited and its various subsidiaries. Bannson Universal sabotaged several airships, sparking a lawsuit in 3133 that was stalled by the chaos of the Blackout.[1] In September 3132, the First Bannson's Raiders attacked and overwhelmed a BelOuros depot on Fletcher,[3] and the Band of Five assaulted an Acamar-based scrapyard that November.[2]
