Lieutenant Bend An Yuri was the commander of Yuri's Command Lance and Yuri's SpecOps Company, Third Battalion (Keller's Reserve Battalion) of the Waco Rangers as of 3025.[1]

In 3024, Yuri led his Special Operations Company as part of an assault on the Draconis Combine world of Hyperion in search of units from the Wolf's Dragoons while under Lyran Commonwealth contract. While in the capital city of Ahsiz, however, the Rangers were attacked by a larger force of two Dragoons regiments and were forced to retreat off-world.
Yuri's company together with Colonel Wayne Waco formed the rear guard during this retreat. They lost over half their 'Mechs in exchange for destroying ten Dragoon 'Mechs.[2]

Yuri was known to pilot a Victor BattleMech.[1]
