Carson Kurita was a noble on Kaus Media in the mid-thirty-first century.[1]
History[edit]
During the Fourth Succession War, Carson Kurita's brother was killed on Wheel by a Lyran Commonwealth MechWarrior named Rider Chism. Count Kurita swore vengeance against Chism and during the War of 3039 hunted down a Hauptmann Chism on Vega thinking it was Rider Chism. However, it was not Rider: it was Rider's daughter whose death further inflamed the feud between the two families.[1]
After Chism was named a baron, the two sides frequently raided each other's holdings. The feud came to a head in 3046 when Rider Chism gathered his forces and attacked Kurita's estate on Kaus Media. There Rider and Kurita met upon a small mesa where they dueled in their BattleMechs while their forces watched without interfering. Rider would kill Kurita during the duel, but then would be cut down in turn by Kurita's Royal Guard shortly thereafter.[1][2]
