Leftenant Cyril Sombelbime was a lance commander in the Second Crucis Lancers during the First Succession War.[1][2][3]

Sombelbime led a lance of Enforcer BattleMechs during an assault on Capra during the First Succession War.
A minor legend arose regarding her participation in this battle, which suggested she was heard exhorting her lance to fire their autocannons until they glowed, or even explode. According to the story, her autocannon did eventually start to glow, before it exploded and killed the prophetic officer.[1][2][3]
