Detlev Hauer was an officer with the LCAF during the start of the ilClan era.

By 3151, Detlev Hauer had succeeded Hauptmann-General Martha Steiner[1] as commander of the York Province (formerly Buena Province). Atypically for a commander of an interior region[2], Hauer held the title of Margrave. Following the promotion of Ludwig Steiner to the post of Margrave of Timbuktu Theater, Hauer cooperated with General Steiner to redraw the internal borders of the region.[3]
