Gerald and his Wasp were common sights on Alpheratz. He took part in the first reported combat use of the -3A when he challenged Star Commander Reginald to a Trial of Grievance. Facing Reginald's Baboon, Gerald used his jump jets to close the distance and used terrain to evade missiles. Leveraging the accuracy of his pulse lasers, Gerald tore through the Baboons's rear armor. He won much praise for taking down his superior officer in a "Spheroid" ’Mech. RAF analysts obtained the Battle ROM in order to assess the -3A's capabilities[1]
